What can I expect during the first therapy session?In the initial session, the goal is to get to know each other and establish a comfortable environment. You'll discuss your reasons for seeking therapy, your personal history, and any specific goals you have. It's also a time for you to ask any questions about the therapy process and to learn about confidentiality and session policies.

How long does each therapy session last?Typically, therapy sessions last 50 or 75 minutes depending on the service. We will aim to keep sessions within this timeframe to ensure there's enough time to address important issues without feeling rushed.

How much does each session cost?Services are priced as follows: 50 minutes - $200 75 minutes - $300

How often should I attend therapy sessions?The frequency of therapy sessions can vary depending on your individual needs and goals. Most commonly, sessions are scheduled once a week, but they can be more or less frequent based on what we decide together will provide the best outcome for you.

What is your cancellation policy?Please provide at least 48 hours-notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a session. This allows me to offer the slot to another client who may be waiting for an appointment. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled time will be subject to a cancellation fee.

Are therapy sessions confidential?Yes, confidentiality is a cornerstone of therapy. What you share in sessions is kept private, with the exception of certain legal exceptions which will be explained in your first session. Your privacy and safety are of utmost importance.

Do you offer virtual therapy sessions?Yes, I offer virtual therapy sessions via secure video conferencing tools. This allows us to conduct therapy even if you are unable to attend in person due to distance, health reasons, or scheduling conflicts.

What payment methods do you accept?I accept various payment methods, including credit cards, debit cards, and cash. Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made in advance.

Do you work with insurance?Currently, I do not accept insurance. For clients who wish to use insurance, I can provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

What should I do if I feel that you're not the right fit for me as a therapist?Finding the right therapist is crucial to the success of your therapy. If at any point you feel that I might not be the best fit for your needs, I encourage you to share these feelings with me. We can discuss potential adjustments to our approach, or if necessary, I can provide referrals to other therapists who might be a better match for your specific concerns.
